Nirvana Nevermind was released 20yrs ago yesterday and changed the face of music, essentially commercializing punk. (quasi-punk)

AC/DC Back in Black was released 31 years ago in August and went on to sell more copies than all but 2 records. And has the distinction of the most AirPlay, jukebox and public performance than any other record. Essentially commercializing Acid Rock (hard rock).

Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon was released 39 years ago in March. It stayed on the Top 100 Album Sales for well over 20 years. It commercialized long form rock songs (5+ minutes, the antithesis of The Beatles).

I performed a new song for my daughter in 2011, a few days back. Guitar, singing (messing up lyrics). Its not a good song, it’s just okay. She gave me her sucker.
